Al-Marsad newspaper: The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majed Al-Hogail, urged citizens to monitor the negative phenomena they see in public places, roads and neighborhoods.
Al-Hogail wrote on Twitter: “In just 180 days, thanks to your awareness and participation in improving the urban landscape in our cities, we received reports that more than 42% of them were treated within 24 hours.”
“The number of downloads of the Baladi application has increased, reaching more than 1.3 million since the launch of the Photo and Send campaign,” the minister added.
Al-Hogail pointed out that the “Sour and Arsal” campaign aims to improve the urban landscape, and has achieved great interaction and an influential community contribution.
And the Minister of Municipal Affairs concluded: “Your role is important in improving the landscape of our cities by downloading the application and participating in the campaign. Raise your mobile phone.. Pictures and send.”
