Alexander Zverev (ATP 6) qualified without any real problem for the semi-finals of Roland-Garros on Tuesday by easily defeating Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (ATP 46) in three sets 6-4, 6-1, 6-1 in 1h38 of match.
The German has always seemed in full control of the situation in this match despite some disputes with the central referee which aroused hilarity in the stands. After a complicated first round against his compatriot Oscar Otte, Zverev has found his cruising speed to line up 4 wins in 3 sets. A limpid course which allowed him to keep his strength and gain confidence before his semi-final where he will face the winner of the duel between Matteo Berrettini and Daniil Medvedev. This will be the third semi-final of his career.

For Davidovich Fokina, for his part, saw his beautiful week end abruptly. Visibly tired, the Spaniard has probably paid the bill after the 9 sets played against Casper Ruud and Federico Delbonis.
