An elderly Saudi woman captivated the hearts of the Saudis, following a video of her spread like wildfire on the communication platforms, while she performed the Saudi parade, during 92nd National Day Celebrations .
Under the slogan “It is our home”, the woman appeared in a video spontaneously and simply, carrying a sword and interacting with the swaying of the Ardah men who chanted the famous patriotic chants amidst drumming.
It is noteworthy that the Ardha is a folk dance, which was initially launched as one of the songs of wars, but later became performed during celebrations and holidays, in which many verses of poetry are sung, followed by a dance with swords, and different types of drums are used.
Saudi Arabia celebrates the National Day for the Unification of the Kingdom on September 23 of each year, while the popular celebrations extend for several days.
