A volleyball player demolishes a table to save a ball

The sequence that you will see in a moment is not recent.

It goes back to December 2 during the NCAA women’s volleyball game between South Dakota and Houston.

So why are we showing you this today? Because for some unexplained reason, the whole thing is starting to make a splash on social media.

Thanks to the algorithms I guess…

But brief.

Houston’s libero, Kate Georgiades, played her part wonderfully in keeping the ball in play. Georgiades didn’t hesitate to dive on a table at the other end of the field to hand the ball to a teammate.

In the end, Houston won the spectacular trade.

Wow!

It’s not for nothing that she was named the libero of the year.
