Tamwilcom’s intervention in favor of businesses and individuals made it possible to mobilize a volume of financing of more than 54.1 billion dirhams (MMDH) for 86,790 operations in 2023.
Tamwilcom’s overall activity thus recorded growth of 14% compared to 2022, for an amount of commitments amounting to MAD 35.1 billion, compared to MAD 31 billion during the previous financial year, indicates a press release from Tamwilcom on the holding, Thursday in Rabat, of its 8th board of directors of Tamwilcom.
Tamwilcom’s activity remains mainly oriented towards supporting the financing of the company which concentrates 94% of the volume of interventions in 2023, with commitments made of MAD 33.2 billion, having enabled the mobilization of MAD 50.8 billion in credits. , specifies the press release.
The generic guarantee for the benefit of very small, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), a historic and central activity of Tamwilcom, enabled the mobilization of a volume of credits of MAD 39 billion in 2023, covered by guarantees from the institution up to of MAD 21.7 billion, an increase of 13% compared to 2022.
Most of the guarantee activity, i.e. 91%, benefited micro and very small enterprises (VSEs), confirming Tamwilcom’s commitment to financial support for this priority target, underlines the same source.
For its part, the activity of the “Daama Tamwil” participatory window, driven mainly by the guarantee in favor of businesses, recorded significant growth of 72% in 2023 compared to the previous year, demonstrating the growing interest in crowdfunding.
The intervention of “Daama Tamwil” thus made it possible to cover 566 million dirhams (MDH) in crowdfunding, for a volume of commitments of 341 MDH.
During this meeting, the Board of Directors approved the accounts of Tamwilcom for the financial year ending December 31, 2023
