A new addictology consultation at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital takes care of young consumers between 15 and 25 years old, the most likely to have addictive behaviors. It was also during this period that many psychiatric disorders emerged, including schizophrenia and bipolarity, and the consumption of psychoactive substances aggravated their development.
This consultation allows you to receive quickly young patients (maximum delay of one month). During this, the addictologist doctor and the psychologist, in pairs, take stock of the situation in a global way and, if necessary, offer guidance towards the appropriate care.
