Samuel Bankman Fried is the latest world’s rich Young people in cryptocurrency with a fortune estimated at 20 billion dollars.
Bankman made his fortune after founding the FTX cryptocurrency exchange in 2019, taking advantage of the gap in Bitcoin prices between world exchanges to make millions upon launch.
The FTX platform is worth around $40 billion, and rivals major cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance.
Bankman wants to donate his billions to the needy in poor countries, and only $100 thousand of his fortune as an annual income.
Bankman donated $50 million last year, and this year he plans to donate $1 billion.
