A 23-year-old girl was injured after a violent struggle with a criminal who intercepted her while she was on her way to work. Despite everything, she was not intimidated by the thief’s threats, whom he confronted saying “then stab me.”
The event occurred this morning on Dauver Street, a few meters from the Primary School number 130 “Martha Salotti” in Virrey del Pino, in the west of the Buenos Aires suburbs. The victim, identified as Belén Zapana, she suffered cuts on her leg and was treated by teachers who alerted the police and called an ambulancealthough it is out of danger.
According to sources, it all started when the woman was on her way to work and was surprised by a criminal armed with a knife who demanded his belongings.
At that moment, the victim resisted and struggled with the assailantto whom he refused to hand over his valuables and yelled “then stab me.”
After injuring her leg, the thief fled, while the victim was assisted by assistants and teachers from the “Salotti” school, who came to help her after hearing the screams.
Zapana was taken by a neighbor in his private car to the Prompt Attention Unit (UPA) 18-La Matanza, with a sharp wound to the leg for which I had lost quite a bit of blood.
According to the spokespersons, after being treated at that health center, the woman went with her sister and by her own means to the Argerich Hospital in the City of Buenos Aires where they performed cures and studies.

For her part, a neighbor who witnessed the attack, in dialogue with the TN news channel, said that “she (the victim) said that they robbed her but before stealing her they hurt her, they opened her leg and she was lying there«.
