The additional time is provided to 7,600 businesses, as these companies, although they complied with their obligations and met the relevant conditions for successful interconnection, having terminals, which
are included in the Providers’ (NSPs/Acquirers’) Declarations of Conformity and upgraded FIMs with technical interconnectivity, ultimately failed to interconnect through no fault of their own, due to a technical failure of one of their devices.

By decision of the Governor of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, the interconnection deadline for these businesses is extended until June 10, 2024, so that they can proceed, without the risk of sanctions, to procure a cash system or Payment Instrument, the combination of which will ensure the ability to link them to legitimately receive card payments from their business.
These businesses have already received a relevant e-mail from AADE, with which they are informed of the relevant extension of the interconnection and the possibility of informing them from the Table of readiness for interconnection of POS models with types of cash registers, which is posted on its website
