Two puma cubs found without their mother in Kalama, Washington have been transferred to a zoo. A 20-week-old male puma and a female puma were brought to the Philadelphia Zoo by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. Their mother is believed to have been shot dead by the farmer.

Officials named the puma cubs transferred to the zoo. The name of the male puma is Elbroche. Olympia for women. Doctors are monitoring their health. Allow the public to visit only following the quarantine is over.

Pumas are listed as ‘Least Concern’ by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). They are also known as cougar and mountain lion. Puma cubs grow up under the care of their mothers. They can be found from Alaska to Chile.
