Name and biography
Abdul Khaleq bin Abdul Jalil bin Hassan bin Madan bin Saleh bin Hassan bin Abdul Nabi bin Saleh Al-Janabi… a great name in his personality, role and impact. He started out as a poet, ended up as a historian, and presented the Arab library with a bunch of books on history, geography and Arabic literature.
He was born in the village of Al-Qudaih on Monday, Rabi’ Al-Thani 9, 1384 AH, corresponding to August 17, 1964. He was the fourth son of his parents. He grew up in the embrace of his parents in Al-Qudaih until he reached the age of five, when he was due to lose his left leg to cancer after a fall injury.
At the age of seven, he moved with his father and his family to live in the Al-Zuraib neighborhood of Qatif Castle for two years, then the family moved again to live in the Al-Wada neighborhood for six years, after which they moved to live in the Al-Fath neighborhood on Tarut Island (limited income), and he remained there until his death. .

His father enrolled him in Quran at the age of 6 years, so he memorized some short surahs from the Qur’an, and in the year 1393 AH (1973 AD), he joined Al-Falah Primary School in Qatif, where he studied the primary stage from the first semester to the fifth semester of primary school and some of the sixth semester, as the family moved to live in the neighborhood of Al-Fath, so he completed this semester at Al-Shati Primary School in Qatif, completing the primary stage there in the year 1399 AH (1979 AD).
“Al-Janabi” joined Qatif Model Middle School, where he studied middle school, and graduated from it in the year 1402 AH (1982 AD). He then joined Qatif Secondary School, where he completed the first and second levels of secondary school, then completed the third semester of secondary school in its literary section, and obtained a certificate for this stage in the year 1409. For Immigration (1989 AD).
In the same year, he joined King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, where he studied for two and a half years, but did not complete his studies due to difficult circumstances he went through.
But he completed his literary career, which he began as a poet, and became immersed in reading books and research, especially those related to history and antiquities, which played a major role in his direction of writing historical research, many of which he published.

In the year 1415 AH (1994 AD) he joined a government job at the Social Guidance House in Dammam for two years, then in the year 1417 AH (1996 AD) he officially joined the Ministry of Health.
