Abdullah Al Hamed: “Emirates Medical Day” is an occasion to celebrate the “heroes of the first line of defense”

His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, stressed that the “Emirates Medical Day” is an important occasion to celebrate and highlight the efforts of the heroes of the first line of defense, and their great role in the march of the health care sector in the country. In a speech on the occasion of the Emirates Medical Day, which is being celebrated for the first time today, His Excellency said: “We appreciate the initiative of the Emirates Medical Association to allocate the Emirates Medical Day, which aims to honor workers in the health sector for their dedication, tireless work, and dedication to maintaining the health and safety of community members. Serving all of humanity in the midst of the challenges the world has witnessed over the past two years.” He added: “The healthcare sector is one of the most growing sectors, and over the past few years it has been able to attract a group of talents and expertise, strengthen fruitful partnerships, raise absorptive capacities and enrich scientific research efforts, which has established its position among the distinguished health systems around the world. He continued, “Under the guidance and support of the wise leadership, Abu Dhabi was able to present a pioneering model in dealing with the pandemic, placing it at the forefront of the world’s cities in responding to the pandemic and maintaining the health and safety of community members, as it presented the heroes of the first line of defense in the public and private sectors.” It played an important role in dealing with (the pandemic), and distinguished the health care sector’s response and achievement of these important achievements that were appreciated and honored locally and globally.”
His Excellency said: “In the Department of Health, we are keen to enhance the efficiency and expertise of workers in the health care sector, by developing and launching a series of programs that enable workers to hone their skills, enrich their knowledge, and enable them to keep pace with the latest developments in health care, to ensure that they provide health care services of the highest quality. Degrees of excellence and quality in line with the latest international practices.
