Abha coach after dismissal: Their ambitions brought me down

Belgian Sven Vandenbroek, the former Saudi club Abha coach, revealed that two people, including the current interim coach, Mateus Joseph, have ambitions of obtaining his position, which led to his dismissal last week.

Vandenbrooke was sacked last week following losing at home to Al-Nassr 3-0, and Mateusz Joseph was assigned to coach the team.

Vandenbroek told the “In the Goal” program: Key players did not believe that the team was capable of keeping pace with the major teams, and there are people who have ambitions to be in my position, although they work in my technical staff, specifically coach Mateus Joseph, who took my position and another person.

I follow: Some people weren’t happy with my rigor, as for the intensity of my training that’s true, but for fatigue I don’t think it’s true because I believe it’s more mental than anything else.
