(PLO)- Many canoes were burned in a big fire that just happened at the old canoe repair workshop located along the Saigon River in Thu Duc City.
In the afternoon of February 26, the police of Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City are still calculating the damage, clarifying the cause of the fire that occurred at the old canoe repair workshop, causing many canoes to burn.

Initial information, about 14 hours, the fire broke out from the canoe repair workshop located along the Saigon River in Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City.
Discovering the incident, people used fire-extinguishing means on the spot, but due to the dry weather and the presence of many flammable materials, the fire quickly broke out.
Nearby residents said that the fire had burned about 10 canoes, with black smoke rising tens of meters high.

The fire was extinguished only when the Fire Police force sent many fire engines and officers to the scene and deployed to extinguish the fire.
There were no casualties in the incident, but many properties were destroyed.
