About 300 passengers have an unknown illness; Ruby Princess spread fear again

About 300 passengers on the ship that traveled from Texas to Mexico contracted an unknown disease. The disease spread among the passengers and crew of the ship that returned from Texas on February 26 and arrived in Mexico on March 5.

2,881 passengers and 1,159 crew were on board the luxury liner Ruby Princess. Of these, 284 passengers and 34 crew members have shown symptoms. Symptoms of nausea and diarrhea were seen in the passengers. But the cause of the health problems is not known.

Ruby Princess is a ship that has been in the news due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. In 2020, the ship was stuck in Australia with hundreds of Covid-positive cases. Now that an unknown disease has started spreading among the passengers, the crew has ensured extra cleanliness and used disinfectants. But the spread of the disease might not be controlled.
