The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs, at the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion during the GITEX Global 2023 exhibition held at the World Trade Center in Dubai, signed three service performance level agreements regarding developing a general framework for information exchange and digital integration with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TRA). ), and the Emirates Media Council.
This is to consolidate cooperation and coordination, provide distinguished services to customers, and consolidate strategic partnership relationships in order to achieve the strategic objectives of Abu Dhabi Customs and the parties to the agreements and in accordance with the comprehensive strategic plan of the Abu Dhabi government in particular and the United Arab Emirates in general.
His Excellency Rashid Lahej Al Mansouri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, signed an agreement with the Emirates Media Council, represented by Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Secretary General of the Council, while Mubarak Matar Al Mansouri, Executive Director of the Customs Operations Sector, signed two agreements, the first with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, represented by His Excellency Osama Amir Fadl, Assistant Undersecretary for the Industrial Accelerators Sector. The second is with the Communications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, represented by Mohammed Al-Ramsi, Deputy Director General of the Communications Sector at the Authority.
The service performance level agreements regarding establishing a general framework for information exchange and digital integration aim to strengthen the bonds of institutional cooperation between Abu Dhabi Customs and the parties to the agreements to facilitate customs operations, speed up procedures in accordance with applicable legislation, and establish a general, systematic and organized framework for exchanging information, data and services in a way that supports common interests and goals.
