Abu Dhabi Police share students’ journey from their homes to schools

Abu Dhabi Police accompanied the students on their morning trip from the moment they boarded the school bus near their homes and surprised them with welcome gifts before arriving at their schools, with the aim of ensuring their safety, in cooperation with Emirates Transport.

Brigadier General Muhammad Dhahi Al-Hamiri, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, explained that the initiative focused on ensuring safety for students during their transportation by school bus, ensuring that all preventive measures are followed and raising their awareness of the importance of adhering to the rules of safe disembarkation and boarding to and from the school bus, fastening the seat belt, and committing to safe passage when they arrive at or near the school. the home. He stressed the Abu Dhabi Police’s interest in implementing continuous awareness initiatives to ensure safety for school students in cooperation with partners within the framework of the federal campaign at the state level under the slogan “Traffic Safety for School Students”.

He added that the ultimate goal that we all seek is to raise the level of awareness among all those concerned with the educational system, especially the family, which has an important role in preparing the student and guiding him with safety procedures during transportation by school buses or the vehicles of their parents, in addition to raising awareness of the role of the school and the supervisors of the process of transporting students.

For his part, Major Ahmed Abdullah Al Muhairi, Director of the Public Relations Branch at the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, indicated that the initiative witnessed a distinguished interaction from the students, and their various inquiries were answered and they were guided with everything that enhances their safety and security during the daily trip to and from the school..
