Abu Dhabi: The police have warned the driver not to get out of the vehicle while the engine is running.
It has been noticed that some drivers go out without stopping the engine for shopping, going to ATMs and offering prayers. This is a serious traffic violation. Unfortunately in these cases the risk is much greater if there are children inside the vehicle.
Also there is a possibility of robbery in the vehicle. Parking in prohibited areas should also be avoided. Drivers who ignore traffic signs and instructions will be fined Dh500. The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols authorities advised the drivers to refrain from such reckless behaviour.
