A collision between a truck and a van, on national route No. 14 at the height of Campo Grande, left two people dead as an initial balance, according to the first reports issued from the accident site.
The collision occurred between a Ford F-350 truck and a Toyota Hilux pickup. For reasons that are being established, both vehicles collided on their front parts, causing the death of two elderly people, who were in the truck, and leaving the truck driver with serious injuries.
The crash occurred at kilometer 908 of national route No. 14, around 6:30 this Monday. The deceased are those who, according to the information given by the Misiones Police, were identified as Aldo Raúl Resoagli, 46, and Pablo Smechel, 43.
The first agents who arrived at the scene found that the truck driver and his companion had no vital signs, while the truck driver was taken to the local hospital.
Local troops, police firefighters and the Scientific Police Division work on the site, who carry out the rigorous tasks. Traffic is cut off in the area.
