Bangalore – Insiders say Meta faces a record EU fine for data breaches. It will be higher than the previous maximum fine of 746 million euros once morest Amazon, said two people familiar with the process. The background is the dispute over the transfer of data from Facebook users from the EU to US servers. Meta did not implement a warning from the European Court of Justice (ECJ), it said.
