Accountants warn of a crisis in appointments before the SAT

The Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) warned that there is a dating crisis in the Service tax administration (SAT) for which he made a call to implement measures to assist taxpayers so that they can comply with their fiscal obligations.

He proposed that the authorities extend to two years the renewal period of the electronic signature through the SAT ID and, in the event that the procedures cannot be completed in person, they will be granted Three working days more to taxpayers.

They proposed expanding the opening hours, with appointments on Saturdays and Sundays as well as providing the opportunity to sign up for Federal taxpayer registration electronically.
