According to information reported by El Cierre Digital, the separation procedures would have started several weeks ago. This break would be linked to a difference in mentality and the significant age gap between them, Hiba Abouk being 36 years old and Achraf Hakimi only 24 years old.
This news has resurfaced in recent days, after the PSG player was accused of rape by a young Parisian. The actress did not post a message of support for her husband on social networks and did not accompany him to the Fifa party, during which the footballer was named the best right-back of the last season.
A rape case that leaves a stain
According to Le Parisien, a 23-year-old woman went to the police station in Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) to claim that the footballer had sexually assaulted her. Although she did not wish to file a complaint, the judicial police alerted the prosecution because of the “seriousness” and the “notoriety” of the alleged perpetrator of the rape.
According to the victim’s account, the footballer contacted the young woman via Instagram on February 16. After inviting her to come to his house and sending an Uber to pick her up, the young woman reportedly went to Achraf Hakimi’s home, where the sexual assaults allegedly took place. Despite the victim’s requests, the player reportedly began to take off his clothes. The alleged victim then reportedly managed to free herself by kicking her attacker, escaping from the house.
Moreover, to corroborate these rumours, the Moroccan player was alone at home that weekend, because his wife Hiba Abouk and their two children were on a trip to Dubai, as his social networks indicated.
