Accused of rape last weekend by a young woman and under investigation since, Achraf Hakimi was indicted on Friday.
The player was heard as part of the investigation by the Territorial Security of Hauts-de-Seine, before being presented to a judge then indicted and placed under judicial control.
Last week, a young woman presented herself at the Nogent-sur-Marne police station, declaring that she had been raped by the player. The latter, aged 24, did not wish to file a complaint, but an investigation was nevertheless opened.
The facts date back to February 25, following Hakimi invited the young woman to his home following meeting her on Instagram.
This Friday, the Moroccan international was present in training to prepare for the reception of Nantes. He even appeared smiling, warming up during a toro alongside Sergio Ramos, Marco Verratti, Kylian Mbappé or even Marquinhos.
For its part, the club learned of the indictment of Achraf Hakimi this Friday morning shortly before the revelation of the information by several media. A press release should be published during the day.
