Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Deputy Ministers of Transport, Emiliano Fernández, and Industry, Lorena Méndez, met with their respective technical teams to analyze the challenges related to the implementation of electromobility.
During the meeting, they discussed the strategies and measures needed to advance the adoption of electric mobility in the transport and industrial sectors, stressing the importance of integrating these technologies into future development plans.
In addition, they evaluated current projects, identified areas for improvement and defined steps to follow to ensure efficient and sustainable progress in this key area for modernizing infrastructure and promoting environmental sustainability.
It is worth mentioning that as part of the effort to promote sustainable mobility, the Vice Ministry of Transport will receive 30 electric buses through the support of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The implementation of these transport units represents a significant step towards the modernization of the public transport system, aligning with the objectives of reducing emissions and improving the quality of service.
