This weekend the representatives of the Citizen Security Organizations (OSC) met at the facilities of the zone command number 62 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in Puerto Ordaz, to activate the Anti-kidnapping Plan in the Bolívar state, whose purpose is to “prevent this scourge to all citizens who live in Venezuelan territory.”

The working group was made up of the directors of the Guyana Strategic Criminal Investigation Network (Redip Guayana), of the Bolívar State Delegation, and of the Coordination Against Organized Crime of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc).

Together with military units and institutions in the region, they designed strategies to address these situations in times of more effective responses through the Peace Quadrants.

The authorities extended the call to the public to “report and go to the competent bodies as soon as possible.”
