Kochi: Chalachithra Academy chairman Ranjith and actor Dileep, the accused in the actress’ assault case, shared the stage at a function organized by the theater owners. Ranjith later said that he did not see Dileep at home and only attended the invited function. He also said that he will continue his relationship with filmmakers as the chairman of the academy.
Ranjith and Madhupal, chairman of the Cultural Welfare Fund, were given a reception by Fiok, an organization of theater owners, yesterday. Dileep was felicitated at the function as Fioc Chairman. In his welcome address, Dileep said that Ranjith deserves to be the chairman of the academy. The two shared the stage, which led to a great deal of discussion on social media.
