Kumarakom: Ottal Vasavan (Vasudevan-76), best known for his role in Jayaraj’s Ottal, has passed away. He died at Kottayam Medical College. He had been undergoing treatment at the medical college since yesterday due to high blood pressure.
Ottal won several awards, including the IFFK Golden Crow Pheasant Award. National Award for Best Picture for Environmental Protection. Ottal has won several awards from the State Award for Best Picture. Kumarakom Vasudevan became known as Ottal Vasudevan as his role in the film was highly acclaimed.
