The police have checked the actor Pierre Gruno related to the beating case at the South Jakarta bar. Pierre Gruno was named a suspect.
“Today, the reported PSH alias PG has been named a suspect in the alleged article 351 of the Criminal Code,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Irwandhy, to journalists, Thursday (13/7/2023).

Actor Pierre Gruno was previously reported by a man with the initials GDS. Pierre Gruno allegedly assaulted GDS in a bar at a hotel in Cilandak, South Jakarta.
The GDS report is registered with the number LP/B/1981/VI/2023/SPKT/Polres Metro Jaksel/Polda Metro Jaya. In the report, Pierre Gruno was reported on charges of Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding persecution.
The beating by Pierre Gruno occurred on Friday (30/6) night at a bar in Cilandak, South Jakarta. As a result of this incident, the victim suffered bruises on his face.
The trigger for the Beating of Pierre Gruno
It is not known in detail the chronology of the incident. However, the beating that was carried out by Pierre Gruno was triggered by the actor’s offense.
“It is suspected that the reporter, alias victim witness, met with the reported because there was a gesture that was considered by the reported to be inappropriate or inappropriate, triggering offense,” said Irwandhy.
“But whatever that reason is, it does not become a reason or justification for committing a criminal act,” he continued.
