Actor Tom Sizemore in critical condition after brain aneurysm

(Los Angeles) Tom Sizemore is in critical condition after suffering a brain aneurysm, a rep for the actor said Sunday.

Sizemore suffered the aneurysm around 2 a.m. Saturday at his home in Los Angeles. He was hospitalized in intensive care, said his manager, Charles Lago, and the evolution of his condition remains uncertain for the moment.

The 61-year-old actor has starred in films, among others Saving Private Ryan, Heat et Black Hawk Down. He also had drug addiction problems and run-ins with law enforcement throughout his life.

Sizemore had been convicted of domestic violence in 2003 against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss. Nor had he contested the use of methamphetamine outside a motel in 2006.

Three years later, the producer was arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly assaulting an ex-spouse, and again in 2011 for the same offence.

In 2018, a then 26-year-old actress filed a lawsuit against Tom Sizemore, claiming he abused her, aged 11, during production of the film Born Killers. The actor denied the charges, and the lawsuit was later dismissed.
