Thiruvananthapuram: The phones of Dileep and the other accused in the Actress Attack Case were taken to the Thiruvananthapuram Forensic Lab for examination. The Aluva Magistrate’s Court yesterday ordered to send the six phones of the four accused, including Dileep, to the Cyber Forensic Lab in Thiruvananthapuram. The Aluva Magistrate’s Court had rejected the prosecution’s demand that the unlock pattern be checked in court.

The crime branch had requested that all the six phones handed over to the Aluva Magistrate’s Court be sent to the forensic lab in Thiruvananthapuram following the High Court order. The Aluva Magistrate, considering the need, had asked the respondent to produce its pattern for opening the phones. The lawyers of Dileep and his co-accused then handed over the pattern of the six phones. The prosecution demanded that the phones in the sealed envelope be opened and sent to the lab after confirming that the pattern handed over by the respondent was correct. But the court rejected this demand.
