Evan Rachel Wood, known for her roles in the series “Westworld” or in the film “Thirteen”, makes her accusations in the HBO documentary “Phoenix Rising”, presented at the Sundance Film Festival.

In this production, which shows the fight to increase the statute of limitations for sex crimes to allow victims to obtain justice, the actress reflects on the filming in 2007 of the video for “Heart-Shaped Glasses”, one of the tubes of Marilyn Manson, then his companion.

“We had talked about a simulated sex scene. But when the cameras were rolling, he started to really penetrate me,” says the young woman.

“I never agreed to that,” she insists.

Actress since childhood, she explains that she “did not know how to say no”, because she had “been conditioned and trained never to answer, to go after everything at all costs”.

Evan Rachel Wood started dating Marilyn Manson – real name Brian Warner – in 2006 when he was 18. The singer was 37 at the time.

“I was forced into a commercial sex act under a false pretext (…) I was raped in front of a camera”, she testifies.

During the attack, “I can say that the team was very embarrassed and that no one knew what to do,” adds the actress.

According to the documentary, Marilyn Manson then pressured the young woman to assure reporters that there was no real sex scene during filming.

Asked by AFP about these accusations, the singer’s representatives had not reacted Monday morning.

Several women, like actress Esmé Bianco (“Game of Thrones”), have accused Marilyn Manson of rape and other assaults, which he denies.

The Los Angeles police confirmed last year that they had opened an investigation into accusations of violence within the framework of the couple against the singer, relating to acts committed between 2009 and 2011.

Now 53, Marilyn Manson has created an eerie, gothic-inspired public persona in make-up, wearing two different lenses, with jet-black hair. Its very name is inspired by the actress Marilyn Monroe and the bloodthirsty guru Charles Manson, who caused the murder of actress Sharon Tate.

His record label Loma Vista Recordings and his art agency CAA have both severed ties with the singer following allegations against him. However, he continues to record tracks and is featured on Kanye West’s “Donda” album last year.
