A 30-year-old husband who tried to kill his wife with a knife was arrested by the police as a current offender. The victim’s wife turned out to be an actress in her 40s.
The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced on the 14th that it is investigating and arresting a man in his 30s on charges of attempted murder.
According to the police, person A is suspected of trying to kill her wife B, an actress in her 40s, several times in front of her home in Itaewon-dong, Seoul around 8:40 a.m. that day.
Person B suffered a neck injury and was taken to a nearby hospital, and it is said that there is no life-threatening injury.
As a result of the police investigation, it was found that Mr. A had recently lived apart from Mr. B as a result of an emergency temporary measure. Person A was found to have committed the crime after purchasing a weapon on the morning of the crime and waiting in front of the house when Mr. B came out.
After the crime, Mr. A tried to make an extreme choice, and the police rushed to the scene after receiving a resident report and found two people who were lying. It is reported that one child was also present at the scene.
The police are investigating the details of the crime against A.
