Hours after the ‘Cottagers’ debut in the Premier League, Fulham has made official the arrival of Adama Traoré, a Spanish footballer who shared several seasons with Raúl Jiménez at Wolves, but recently lost his contract.
“I am delighted to welcome Adama Traoré to Fulham Football Club. He has a lot of experience in the Premier League and we all know him very well; I think he will be a great addition to the team. I am thrilled that Adama has joined us on a multi-year deal!” said Tony Khan, the club’s sporting director.
After 6 months at Barcelona, Adama returned to Wolves in mid-2022, where he was no longer a starter and his role was more of a replacement player. There was no renewal, he became a free agent and that’s how he came to Fulham.
In Raúl Jiménez’s ‘golden age’, prior to his header with David Luiz, Adama Traoré was his great partner on the pitch, because with his speed and strength he complemented the Mexican well and they scored many goals together.
