As part of its Friday conferences, the ADAUQAR invites people aged 50 and over from Eastern Quebec to a conference on microgreens with Héléna Bergeron, owner of the company KiPOUSS micro-culture de L’ Isle-Verte.

On Friday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. remotely on Zoom, interested people are invited to discover the varieties of microgreens and their benefits. Participants will also have the chance to observe the simple method to make beautiful microgreens at home such as sunflower, buckwheat, beetroot, calabrese broccoli, purple basil, purple pea, black kale, cabbage red, etc

Héléna Bergeron has worked for more than 20 years in the field of commercial photography in the Montreal area. After buying a small farmhouse in Bas-Saint-Laurent in 2015, she is looking to develop a business so that she can settle there year-round. It was by realizing the lack of local vegetables during the winter that the idea of growing microgreens germinated. Since then, it is with great passion that she cultivates microgreens year-round with her company KiPOUSS.

To participate in the activity, you must register by contacting Martine Canuel at 1 800 511-3382, extension 1661 or by email at [email protected] or consult the ADAUQAR website. To attend, you must be a member of ADAUQAR.
