New Delhi: Adidas, a global sports brand, has launched the new jersey of the Indian cricket team. Adidas has prepared Test, Twenty20 and ODI jerseys for the Indian team.
The Indian players will play in the new jersey against Australia in the World Test Championship final starting on June 7. Adidas has prepared two different jerseys in dark blue color and light blue color for T20 and ODI. Test jerseys are also different.
BCCI announced on May 22 that Adidas will be the kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team. Secretary Amit Shah clarified. This is the first time that the Indian cricket team and Adidas have joined hands with each other. Earlier, Killer Jeans sponsored India’s kit. The deal with Killer Jeans ended on May 31. Before Killer Jeans, MPL was the sponsor of the jersey. Byjus Learning App is the main sponsor of the Indian Cricket Team. India’s contract with Byjus runs until November 2023.
