ADNOC Logistics and Services announced today, Monday, that it has received the second giant oil tanker, “Habshan”, out of 4 contracted with the South Korean “Hanwha Ocean” shipbuilding company, the first of which is the giant tanker “Hafeet”, which it received last June.

The company said in a statement on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange website today, Monday, that the new giant tanker is designed for long-haul voyages, to ship oil to customers around the world, and is 336 meters long, and is capable of shipping two million barrels of crude oil.
ADNOC Logistics and Services stated that the four new tankers are among the most efficient in the environmental field, thanks to their dual-fuel engines operating on liquefied natural gas, which allows for a greater reduction of their carbon emissions, within the framework of the investment program launched by the company, which amounted to $ 2 billion, to build Low-carbon ships, which allowed the company to reduce its emissions by 20% between 2018 and 2022.
