Superstar Adrian Luna will join Blasters as soon as possible to become stronger than before. Luna is currently resting in Mexico after undergoing surgery for a knee injury. Luna’s social media post saw a banner raised by Yellow Army fans saying ‘Recharge Luna, we are waiting for that magic’. Luna noted that the support of the fans motivates him to come back stronger than before and that he knows the energy that radiates in the atmosphere of the stadium in Mexico and that he is looking forward to his return.
Luna has three goals and four assists for the Blasters this season. Luna got injured on December 14 during a match in Mumbai. The absence of Luna, the star of the yellow team, was not the least of the concerns of the team. But winning against Punjab and Mumbai without Luna gives the team confidence. Blasters are currently second with 23 points from eleven games. Blasters’ next match is against Mohun Bagan on Wednesday.
