  • Adrian Smiseth Sejersted was caught peeing by the director.

  • His penis was broadcast everywhere.

  • The Norwegian takes it with humor.

The pictures of his Penis went around the world – in the truest sense of the word. During the descent in Cortina, a cameraman filmed Norwegian ski racer Adrian Smiseth Sejersted peeing. The recording was broadcast on the worldwide TV signal. “I’ve never seen a penis shown during a sports broadcast,” said the 28-year-old at the World Ski Championships in an interview with 20 minutes.

Sejersted takes the penis breakdown with a lot of humor. He explains the situation as follows: “I was peeing and looking at the cameraman. When I saw that he was filming, I waved him off, but he kept filming.” And further: “I just thought, what’s going on there?” It was a very special situation for him. “Of course I hoped that it wasn’t the worst light and the worst angle. It could have been better, but it could also have been worse,” says Sejersted with a laugh.

amusement for the athletes

There were plenty of messages after the end of the race. Many athletes would have asked what was going on. Several also made fun of the situation. “I was often given the video in slow motion. It’s special.”

The penis breakdown in Cortina is now history. The future belongs to the departure on Sunday at eleven o’clock (live on 20 minutes). Sejersted wants to hunt for medals there: “My goal is to end up on the podium. Of course it’s a bit unlikely, but I think I can do it.” The track suits him well because of the snow conditions. “It’s a bit like Beaver Creek. We Norwegians like that.”
