News 12 reporter and presenter Edva Dadon and her actor partner Yadin Gelman are expecting their first child together. The two, who got engaged two months ago after a relationship of about a year and a half, announced the news this evening (Tuesday) in a post on their Instagram account, where they attached a photo of the ultrasound and wrote: “The photo of our victory.”
Dadon and Gelman maintained a stable relationship under the radar until they officially launched it in December 2022, when they arrived together at a cultural event of Avi Nesher, whose daughter, Tom, was responsible for the successful match. The two are going to expand the family with a little brother or sister who will join 4-year-old Ilan, Dadon’s daughter from her previous marriage to News 12 reporter Gilad Shalmor.
As I recall, on October 7 Gelman was seriously injured in a battle with terrorists in Kibbutz Bari. Dadon received the difficult message about this just before she went on air from Gaza herself.
