Asunción, IP Agency.- The Paraguayan Gymnastics Federation successfully concluded the international rhythmic gymnastics course, in which 21 coaches from different countries in the region participated.
The main focus of this course was to provide a personalized and standardized coach training system for the development of gymnastics worldwide, based on the principles of sports science, health and current best training practices.
Among the countries represented were Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Paraguay, the latter with 3 representatives. During the course, various topics and techniques related to rhythmic gymnastics were addressed, including methodologies, techniques, physiology, anatomy and scoring codes.
Participation in the course consisted of a theoretical part carried out online, as well as a practical part that was carried out in person, where presentations with projections and exhibitions were applied. The educational material provided included technical manuals and theoretical and practical classes.
It is hoped that this training will benefit participants in standardizing coach training around the world, thereby contributing to global excellence in gymnastics training. In addition, the evaluations carried out during the course will allow trainers to advance to the next level and obtain the maximum brevet, guaranteeing a comprehensive understanding before advancing to more advanced topics in later levels of the program.
