An interesting and useful artistic experience provided by the House of Calligraphy at the Cultural Complex of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi for design and creativity enthusiasts through the “Geometric Surfaces” workshop, which begins next November 14 in two versions, morning and evening. The workshop trains participants to use geometric tools to create a geometric surface by repetition. Reciprocal and inverse, until they acquire the skill of extracting more than one shape from the geometric grid and then using colors to produce a flat geometric painting.
The workshop, intended for the age group of 14 years and above, seeks to develop the creative skills of the participants and contribute to building a generation of artists capable of transforming their ideas into aesthetic paintings using engineering tools.
