We see Jon Moxley backstage. He spent three years chasing big wins with New Japan and has now been with All Elite Wrestling for three years. This year has been strange, but in January he vowed he would take pro wrestling by the balls. He announces to Kyle O’Reilly that he caught the wrong opponent in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Forbidden Door belongs to Jon Moxley.

Tony Schiavone announces that a brand new title is coming to AEW. This title isn’t the Trios Championship, AEW All-Atlantic Championship that has already been blown from the rooftops! He represents AEW audiences around the world. A tournament will be held for this – the first match of this tournament will be played immediately! PAC will represent the United Kingdom, while Buddy Matthews will fly the Australian flag.
The following matches have also been announced:

Ethan Page (Canada) vs. All Ego (Canada) Miro (Bulgarian)
Penta Oscuro (Mexico) vs. Malakai Black (Niederlande)

The final match will be between two NJPW stars.

2. Match
Singles Match – AEW All-Atlantic Championship Quarter-Finals
PAC defeated Buddy Matthews via a pinfall after the Black Arrow.
Match time: 10:46
– The fans took turns chanting “Let’s go Buddy” and “Let’s go PAC”. Later, “Fight Forever” was also heard.

Rey Fenix and Penta Oscuro celebrate with the winning PAC. Troubled Buddy Matthews returns to the House of Black.

Eddie Kingston spoke up backstage. He addresses Jake Hager, who cost him his shot at the World Championship. Kingston admits that he hates him, Daniel Garcia and 2point0 – whatever their real names are now. He wants to face Jake Hager at Rampage, no matter if NBA or NHL is in the program beforehand.

After a commercial break, we see Best Friends’ Trent Beretta in the ring. Today is National Best Friends Day, but his friends aren’t there. But that’s not all: he and Rocky Romero had fought a match against FTR for the ROH Tag Team Championship, which ended in a no contest. He feels Roppongi Vice deserves another title match, so he invites the Tag Champs to enter the arena, and they do. Once in the ring, the two let the “FTR” chants fade away before Cash Wheeler explains that he too is not satisfied with not having officially won the match. They are the best tag team in the world. Dax Harwood adds that they want to bring something back for the fans, but Rocky Romero is still in Japan so a rematch cannot take place today. Harwood says Trent actually has a problem with Will Ospreay’s “Bitch Boys”… and suddenly starts playing a theme! It’s Will Ospreay, the leader of the United Empire! Suddenly, United Empire’s Aaron Henare and Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) storm the ring, crushing FTR and Trent Beretta! Ospreay poses grinning in the ring as Trent takes the Aussie Open tag team finisher. He himself completes the whole thing with the Hidden Blade. What a performance from the New Japan stars!

Now we see reDRagon, Adam Cole and William Regal backstage at Tony Schiavone. Regal asks O’Reilly if he’s really up for a match against Jon Moxley. He wishes him luck and regrets having to comment on O’Reilly getting his skull split open. O’Reilly reviews his recent achievements. He wants to compete against the best wrestlers in the world and therefore he wants to take his chance at the AEW World Championship. Adam Cole announces that he will comment on the next match. He’s sure Kyle will win his match.

3. Match
Singles Match
“Hangman” Adam Page defeated David Finlay via pinfall after the buckshot lariat.
Match time: 10:23

After his victory, Hangman accepts a microphone. As at the beginning of the match, there are loud “cowboyshit” chants. There’s a lot he wants to share about the AEW World Championship. However, today is not the time for that. He wasn’t part of the battle royal and apparently he won’t get another title chance in the near future either. But as is well known, there is not only one world title in professional wrestling. On Forbidden Door, “he wants a match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship… he wants Okada! Adam Cole, however, has something against it. Okada may not even be champion at this point, but it could also be his opponent, i.e. “Switchblade” Jay White. In addition, Page is no longer a champion. Cole, in turn, has won the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. If anyone should have a match for the IWGP Title, it’s Adam Cole. Page’s time is up. AEW is all about Adam Cole, “Baybay”! So he tells him not to stand in Cole’s way.

We see a backstage segment that was previously recorded. Thunder Rosa opens an Open Challenge for her title, answered by Marina Shafir. Thunder Rosa asks if she has a problem? Shafir says she would like to be her problem. Can Rosa solve this problem?

Tony Schiavone has a lot to do again today because he’s announcing Wardlow. The War Dog goes to the ring, shakes Schiavone’s hand and accepts the microphone. “Welcome to Wardlow’s World,” he says. He has asked not to participate in the Battle Royal as he believes CM Punk is their rightful champion. So if he doesn’t beat punk outright, he doesn’t want that title. What he wants, however, is a title that not many wrestlers have worn before. However, recent champions have badly damaged the title’s reputation, Wardlow says. A few months ago he had almost won the title and now he wants it! Scorpio Sky, the reigning TNT Champion, insists on coming down the ramp with his title, but Ethan Page and Dan Lambert stop him from getting in the ring with him. Wardlow reminds the trio that he is now officially #AllElite and therefore has all the time in the world.

Now “Smart” Mark Sterling is complaining backstage about Wardlow’s actions over the past week. Because he’s a “nice guy,” Wardlow now has two options: face him in court, or defeat twenty members of security at once!

Another commercial break follows, then we see the Young Bucks in their locker room, talking about their recent wins. They want their tag team titles back as a result of their winning streak, but then the Hardys show up. Matt Hardy reminds the Bucks for beating the Young Bucks at Double or Nothing. Christian Cage arrives with the Jurassic Express and says neither tag team deserves a match, but offers them a challenge: Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus against the Young Bucks and the Hardys… in a ladder match – and then another Week at Dynamite! The Bucks and the Hardys seem to be able to come to terms with that.

4. Match
AEW Women’s World Championship
Singles Match
Thunder Rosa (c) defeated Marina Shafir via pinfall after a roll-up.
Match time: 08:26
– As usual, Marina Shafir drew little reaction from the crowd. The fans were clearly behind their champion.

Thunder Rosa can’t celebrate her win for long as Shafir suddenly attacks her with a kick and takes her in her “Ingredient” submission move until Toni Storm makes the save. A brawl erupts between Storm and Shafir before Storm takes down her opponent with a German Suplex. Thunder Rosa follows the Fire Thunder Driver; Storm picks up the AEW World Championship belt and finally presents it to the rightful champion.

Jade Cargill and the baddies are backstage at Tony Schiavone’s. Cargill, unlike Schiavone, says Red Velvet doesn’t have a big match coming up. Stokely Hathaway, who also intentionally mispronounces her name, announces that she will face Kris Statlander.

Rampage on Friday comes up with a big program:

Singles Match – AEW All-Atlantic Championship Tournament Quarter-Finals
„All Ego“ Ethan Page vs. Miro

5. Match
Singles Match – #1 Contender’s Match for the AEW Interim World Championship
Jon Moxley pinned Kyle O’Reilly after the Paradigm Shift.
Match time: 14:14
– A hard-fought, stiff match that included excursions outside the ring.
– O’Reilly escaped from the bulldog choke by biting the middle rope. Moxley kicked the rope from below so it slammed deeper into O’Reilly’s face.
– Moxley attempted a gotch-style piledriver, which O’Reilly countered with a triangle choke. A little later he turned the grip into a kneebar, but Moxley freed himself from this as well.

That almost says Jon Moxley is going to Forbidden Door! There he will face Hiroshi Tanahashi or Hirooki Goto. Ends today’s issue of Dynamite with images of Jon Moxley celebrating.
