All Elite Wrestling „Dynamite #150“
Ort: Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia, USA
First broadcast: August 17, 2022
Spectators: around 4,200

It’s Wednesday – you know what that means! AEW Dynamite launches with a video package that mixes images of AEW wrestlers with scenes from HBO’s new series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon. Commentators then welcome Jim Ross, Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone and to tonight’s show.

AEW World Champion CM Punk makes his way to the ring and is met with loud chants of “CM Punk” from the fans. Punk says he tried to put on his “tough guy game” face but fans ruined it by making him smile. He doesn’t have the prettiest smile, but he does have the prettiest belt. According to Punk, there is someone he wants to challenge to a rematch. Punk goes on to say that Adam Page can get his rematch right away if he wants to. The “Hangman” doesn’t come out though, which disappoints Punk. This is not “cowboy shit” but “coward shit”. Then he turns to interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. Jon Moxley has a lot of fans and feels like number 1 at heart, but he is the real champion. According to Punk, Moxley has always been number 2. Actually, Mox is only the third best in his own group and this has continued throughout his career. But that doesn’t make Moxley a bad guy. Punk says he’s ready to mess with Moxley, but Moxley isn’t ready to mess with him. Moxley’s buddy Eddie (Kingston) is the third best Eddie he has ever stood in the ring with and the second best Kingston he has ever shared a dressing room with. These guys aren’t #1 in anything, according to Punk. Moxley isn’t even the first guy named John/Jon he’s going to beat for a world championship in Chicago.

Jon Moxley’s music finally rang out and the interim AEW World Champion also made his way to the ring. Moxley begins his promo with the words, “Look, ladies and gentlemen, CM Punk drops Pipe Bombs.” According to Moxley, punk does what it does best. He makes his mouth write checks that his body cannot cash. Moxley says it’s just a microphone and doesn’t mean anything, nor does the belt over Punk’s shoulder. But even his own belt didn’t mean shit until he defeated punk. Everyone knows that Punk only came to AEW because he ran out of money. Punk ran out of fighting spirit long ago, but if he wanted to prove him wrong, he could try to do something about it. Punk replies that they will be matched at the All Out PPV and he’s afraid Moxley will bleed if he touches him now. Now it gets physical, after a short staredown a brawl breaks out. The AEW security rushes over and tries to separate the two disputes. But the security guards have problems with this and the two start attacking each other again and again. In the end, however, it is possible to separate the two AEW World Champions.

Powerhouse Hobbs is interviewed by Tony Schiavone. He makes it clear that he doesn’t need friends. Ricky Starks showed his true colors and the world that he was okay with losing. He himself does not agree with losing. Starks hid behind his back for two years because he knew Hobbs would get the job done.

Justin Roberts now introduces Ricky Steamboat as today’s Guest Time Keeper.

Chris Jericho joins the commentators for the first match of the night.

He wants Jack (Jungle Boy’s real first name) to come back home. Jungle Boy seems to accept Christian’s offer but then tackles him and rains down punches. Eventually, security guards rush in to stop the beating.
