Al-Marsad Sports: The Saudi Al-Wasail Company, along with Alawwal Bank “SAB”, announced that the King Saud University stadium would be named “Al-Awwal Park”, instead of Marsool, whose contract was terminated as a result of disputes between the two parties.
According to Al-Riyadiah, the contract between the two parties extends for regarding 3 years, with a clause that includes the addition of two more years. The deal is estimated at regarding $15 million, divided into 3 installments, according to Al-Riyadiah.
The first year will be for 5 million dollars, and the second and third for 4.5 million dollars for each year. It is also expected that the Al-Nasr team match once morest Al-Wehda in the semi-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup competition will be the start of the confrontations on the first park with its new name.
