Al-Marsad newspaper – agencies: BNO News revealed a virus no less dangerous than the Corona virus, as it quoted the Chinese National Health Care Committee that the first infection with bird flu of the H3N8 strain was detected in humans in China.
The agency pointed out that the infection was recorded in a 4-year-old boy in Zhumadian City, Henan Province, central China.
The child caught the virus on April 5, following mixing with a pet bird, and was transferred to the hospital on April 10 due to the deterioration of his health. None of the child’s family members have contracted the virus.
According to preliminary assessments, the H3N8 strain is not yet capable of infecting humans on a large scale, so the risk of a large-scale epidemic remains low.
