Open since July 26 to experience the Olympic Games together, the Florange fan zone is preparing to welcome one of the legends of figure skating for a special meeting with the public.
On April 17, the City of Florange pulled off a major coup by welcoming former swimmer and first French athlete to carry the flame, Laure Manaudou, to its grounds the day after her trip to Olympia in Greece. A visit during which the champion symbolically rekindled the flame on the ArcelorMittal site where the Olympic torch was partly created.

A few months later, while the Olympic Games are in full swing in several cities in France, it is a figure skating legend who is preparing to join the Florange fan zone at the bowling alley. Philippe Candeloro will be present from 2:30 p.m. on the Club Florange 2024 site and will interact with the public between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., this Friday, August 2, 2024, to share his experience as a high-level athlete. A special moment that will continue with a signing session.
