As has now become known, the Estonian financial intelligence agency, the Financial Intelligence Bureau (FIU), initiated proceedings against the Estonian financial service provider Cresco Securities in May 2023 – just as the first reporter inquiries were received. This company is said to have helped Arkadi Rotenberg hide a luxury property in Tyrol from the sanctions authorities.
