The Egyptian artist, Amal Maher, apologized, during a telephone interview to a program on one of the satellite channels, on Thursday, to her fans, saying: “I was in a very bad condition,” after being infected with the Corona virus, after it sparked widespread controversy on social media after rumors circulated about the reason for her disappearance for months. .
Recently, users of social networking sites circulated publications claiming Maher’s detention and the deterioration of her health, and this is related to what was promoted about a dispute with the head of the Saudi General Authority for Entertainment, Turki Al-Sheikh, after their separation.
It was not possible for Al-Hurra to reach Maher or Turki Al-Sheikh to comment on the publications circulating in this regard.
And the singer said in her second consecutive media appearance on the “dmc” satellite channel, after a video published by Egyptian media, last Wednesday, that she had contracted all of the “Covid-19” mutations and suffered from all its symptoms, such as headache, shortness of breath and high temperature, but she has now improved.

However, some questioned the authenticity of last Wednesday’s video, which did not exceed a minute, and described the cough in which Amal Maher appeared as “artificial”, which was denied by the Egyptian singer.
Maher did not publish this video on her official accounts on social networking sites, but on Thursday she responded to a tweet by the star Sherihan, in which she tried to check on her health and said: “We are waiting for your creativity, which resembles nothing but Maher’s hopes,” which the latter commented warmly.

Since the issue of Amal Maher’s disappearance was raised, her accounts on social media, on June 21, published recent photos of her in front of the sea, where she is spending her vacation, and Maher confirmed the authenticity of these photos and that they were taken before she contracted Covid.
