After the London derby quarrel, the coaches of Chelsea and Tottenham are under penalty of penalties

The English Football Association has fined Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel 35,000 pounds ($41,000) and banned him for one match for arguing with Tottenham manager Antonio Conte after the London derby in the English Premier League (Premier League) on Sunday.

Conte was fined 15,000 pounds ($18,000) but avoided a ban after the two managers admitted to inappropriate behavior during the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Nevertheless, Tuchel’s suspension was temporarily suspended pending the full written reasons for the decision, allowing the Chelsea coach to take his place in Sunday’s Premier League match against Leeds at the latter’s home.

The coaches of the two teams quarrelled after the end of Sunday’s match, after the traditional handshake that turned into a confrontation. Both Tuchel and Conte received a red card.

Tuchel may also find himself in trouble over inflammatory comments about the match referee.

Tuchel had commented on match referee Anthony Taylor’s performance in his post-match press conference, saying “maybe it would be better” if Taylor was no longer managing matches for Chelsea.
