The price of the dollar against the pound rose at the end of trading today, Monday, by about 93 piasters compared to the end of trading yesterday, exceeding 47 pounds in 9 banks, according to the banks’ websites.
The price of the dollar suddenly increased during the middle of today’s trading for the first time since the liberalization of the exchange rate, after it began to gradually decline from about 50 pounds on the first day of the pound’s float to under 46 pounds until the end of yesterday, before returning to its rise today.

National Bank of Egypt: 47.35 pounds to buy, and 47.45 pounds to sell, an increase of 81 piasters for buying and selling.
Banque Misr: 47.40 pounds to buy, and 47.50 pounds to sell, an increase of 82 piasters.
Banque du Caire: 47.35 pounds to buy, and 47.45 pounds to sell, an increase of 71 piasters for buying and selling.
Commercial International Bank: 47.35 pounds to buy and 47.45 pounds to sell, an increase of 81 for buying and selling.
